Welcome to the 2007 – 2008 Season of
RQB
Regional Quiz Bowl is a
competition between schools on Long Island that is based on recall of
information covered in academic areas and information that some people might
consider "trivia".
Competing schools come together for five
competitions conducted in a round-robin fashion during the academic year. There
are seven regional sites for the competitions that are held from November to
March. At the end of the season, the top two schools from each region, plus two
wild card teams, are invited to participate in a final tournament, leading to
the title of RQB's Long Island Champion.
